FUTURE PROGRESSIVE TENSE

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE TENSE

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE is used for describing an action that is happening at certain time in the future.

The affirmative Basic form : S + will + be + V ing

1. John will be teaching in my class at 8 A.M tomorrow.

2. Mrs. Eka will be working at her office at 10 A.M next Monday.

3. Mrs . Lina will be reading newspaper in the living room 6 o’clock tomorrow.

4. Rudy will be painting the wall of my house at 8 0’clock next Saturday.

 

The Negative Basic Form : S + Will + not + Be + + V ing

 1. Rita will not be teaching in my class at 8 o’clock tomorrow.

2. Mr. Puguh will not be working at his office at 10 o’clock on Sunday.

3. Mr. Rudy will not be washing his clothes at 6 A.M tomorrow.

4. Rony will not be swimming at 8 A.M tomorrow.

 

The interrogative Basic Form : Will + S + be + V ing

1. Will Mrs. Rina be teaching in your class at 8 o’clock tomorrow?

2. Will Mr. Teguh be working at his office at 10 o’clock on Sunday?

3. Will Rudy be playing tennis at 7 0″clock tomorrow?

4. Will Erwin be helping his father at 7 o’clock on Sunday?

 

Interrogative with W H- QUESTION

1. What will you be doing at 10 o’clock tomorrow?

2. Where will you be going at 10 o’clock tomorrow?

3. Who will you be teaching at 10 0’clock tomorrow?

 

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE IN  PASSIVE SENTENCE WITH AFFIRMATIVE FORM

1. The students will be being taught English at 8 o’clock tomorrow.

2. My house will be being painted at 9 o’clock on Monday.

3. My motor cycle will be being repaired at 10 o’clock tomorrow.

4. The floor of  my house will be being swept at 6 A.M tomorrow.

 

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE IN PASSIVE SENTENCE  WITH NEGATIVE FORM

1. The students will not be being taught mathematics at 8 o’clock tomorrow.

2. My house will not be being  painted at 9 0’clock on Sunday.

3. My car will not be being repaired at 11 0’clock on Saturday.

4. The floor of my class will not be being  swept at 10 o’clock tomorrow.

 

FUTURE PROGRESSIVE IN PASSIVE SENTENCE WITH INTERROGATIVE FORM

1. Will the students be being taught physics at 8 o’clock tomorrow?

2. Will the house  will be being painted at  10 o’clock on Sunday?

3. Will the car be  being repaired at 6 o’clock tomorrow?

4. Will the floor of  my class be being swept at 6 0’clock tomorrow?
